Talking with Middle School students about stress

To continue the conversation about stress this week, we've provided some links below that may be helpful in talking with your Middle School student about stress.

It's true that a little stress can be motivating and that it is normal to have some stressful situations in our lives, but it is important to monitor both ourselves and our children for the signs that stress levels are getting too high. When too much stress is present, it can interfere with our emotional and physical health as well as our relationships with others.

This short article and this article can help parents look for warning signs that stress levels are too high and help them to open up a conversation with their child/ren about stress, how to reduce their stressors and/or manage the stress reactions in their bodies and minds.
